How KIWIBEE works

Hive guide

1. Pick your profile

  • Ask your parent to sign in to the Family Hive on your device.
  • On "Who is using Kiwibee today?" tap your own picture.
  • Type your secret PIN to start collecting nectar. Tap the eye to check your PIN.
  • Finished? Tap Switch profile so the next bee can play.

2. Do your homework

  • Look at Today's pollen missions and tap one to open it.
  • Read the instructions, open any attached sheet, and answer every question.
  • Read-aloud: tap Start reading, read the words out loud, then tap I'm done reading. Red words were missed, so try again! 90% passes. After 5 tries, your best try goes to your parent.
  • Tap Send my answers when you're finished. Your parent will check it.

3. Do your chores

  • House missions are chores like tidying your room.
  • Do the chore at home, then open the mission and tap I did it!
  • Your parent approves it and you get the nectar.

4. Earn nectar and badges

  • Every approved mission gives you nectar in Math, Reading, Homework or House.
  • Collect 100, 300, 600 and 1000 points to unlock Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond badges in each hive.
  • Play Bonus games! Solve the crossword or math puzzle to reveal a secret code. Tell it to your parent to get bonus points.
  • Spend your nectar on honey pots (rewards) by tapping Open, and your parent says yes.

5. Check your progress

  • The rings on My hive badges show how close you are to the next badge.
  • Open the Trophy Room to see every badge you've earned and the ones still locked.
  • The Hall of Fame shows all your seasons, so you can see how much you've grown!

6. Leader Bee (Responsibility)

  • Every mission your parent approves gives you Responsibility points.
  • Finish before the due time to get double: 10 points instead of 5!
  • Collect them to unlock the Leader Bee badges.

7. Challenger Bee (Special Challenges)

  • Play Bonus games and solve them to find the secret code.
  • Tell the code to your parent. When they type it in, you get the bonus points.
  • Bonus points grow your Challenger Bee badges and your nectar for honey pots.
