Child Safety Incident Response Plan
Effective October 27, 2026
1. Report
Concerns can be raised by parents, admins or anyone at privacy@kiwibee.net (subject "Child Safety"). We acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
2. Contain
We immediately restrict or pause affected content or accounts, preserve relevant records and audit logs, and stop any harmful processing.
3. Assess
A designated safety lead reviews what happened, which children and families are affected and the level of risk, normally within 72 hours.
4. Notify
We inform affected parents without undue delay. Where the law requires, we notify authorities, including reporting apparent child sexual exploitation to the NCMEC CyberTipline, data breaches to regulators (for example within 72 hours under GDPR) and affected individuals.
5. Fix and learn
We correct the cause, restore safe service, document the incident and update our safeguards and this plan.
